Voiceover
Authoritative and engaging - the voice of a storyteller.
An authentic southern English RP accent with a deep, rich tone.
I am a highly experienced voiceover artist and have recorded for commercials, TV documentaries, theatre shows, corporate and explainer videos, art gallery audio guides, and various other media.
Whether I'm going for a conversational and expressive style or a neutral, informative one, my voice establishes instant credibility. A special skill of mine is making complex information as clear as can be.
My experience as an actor helps me to breathe life into a text to engage the audience. As when I work with a director, I relish the process of adapting to the client’s feedback to achieve the desired effect.
And my extensive study of literature has given me a facility with language that also comes in handy - I sometimes make suggestions for script adjustments that are greatly appreciated by clients.
Clients have included BBC, Netflix, Channel 4, Waitrose, Lloyds Bank, Sony, Samsung, SEGA, Honda, AstraZenica, Costa Coffee, Tate Gallery, St Paul’s Cathedral and the RSPCA.
I have a high-quality home recording setup, using a RØDE NT1-A microphone and a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd generation sound card, with Audacity on a Mac laptop.
